The Upward Bound (UB) and Upward Bound Math-Science (UBMS) programs provide fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance. Target schools are the focus of UB and UBMS program services that grantees deliver.

This map uses the locale code framework developed by the National Center for Education Statistics. These geographic indicators describe the type of community in which a school is located. The City, Suburban, Town and Rural categories are based on population size and proximity to urban areas.

The data displayed is from the grantees’ 2022-2023 Annual Performance Reports.
